Andy Nguyen, registered nurse and nurse manager, and Nancy Bissel, business office manager, who helped transport associates

It is with great pleasure that we acknowledge the dedication and compassion of the Garden Terrace of Aurora team during one of the most impactful blizzards Colorado has ever endured.

Each day, the staff exemplifies Whatever It Takes And Then Some by providing care to residents during all stages of their dementia progression. During the blizzard of March 2019, all associates surpassed this mission by banding together to ensure associates were able to get to work. They did this through making certain transportation was set for those who were not able to drive in. Some of the management staff volunteered to transport those who were not able to drive in themselves as well as take them home after their shifts ended.

All associates knew how important it was to get to work because they knew how much the residents rely on them. Thank you to the Garden Terrace team members for your dedication to the mission during this challenging time and working together to take care of the residents and each other.
